On January 1, 1997, the EU rules relating to spray-suppression for vehicles of new type-approval system has been in force, and as of January 1, 1999, it is mandatory on vehicles over 7.5 tonnes registered from the aforementioned date.
It is for this reason that Kingom offers this basic information on the European regulations, gathered from the official journal of the European communities in its Directive EEC 91/226, to successfully install the mud flap with spray-suppression devices in all vehicles and bodywork.
