Kingom manufactures vulcanized rubber mud flaps.

Vulcanized rubber mud flaps have a greater stability, hardness, impermeability and

resistance to temperature changes, abrasion, chemical action and electricity. In addition, vulcanized rubber accepts large deformations under load and recovers its original shape easily.

Vulcanization is a chemical process that occurs by heating raw rubber to more than

100 degrees centigrade in the presence of sulfur and polymers that are characterized by showing a large elastic deformation when a force is applied to them.

The addition of these substances results in the rubber curing. They form

molecular intertwined bridges that prevent polymer chains from moving dependently. This is why vulcanized rubber is viscoelastic, non-stick and thermostable (it does not met due to

heat or get broken with cold). This way we ensure that our mud flaps have an outstanding durability.

Regarding the methodology, the vulcanization of tires is carried out by means of high pressure and temperature. The typical vulcanization of a tire takes 10 minutes long at 170 ° C and using the technique of compression molding.

We can also adapt the rubber formula to the needs of each client.
